2018 Courses

We have Mary Concannon visiting from the Irish Clicker Centre teaching at Oakfield Farm again in 2018. Mary taught an excellent series of clinics here over the last few years and we are pleased to have her back. All our 2018 courses are on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday with an introductory talk on the  friday night or those who can make it in time

The next courses are:-

31st March to 2nd April (easter weekend)

26th May to 28th May

7th July to 9th July

13th to 15th October

These courses have 2 types of place on them, participants with a horse (their own or borrowed from us), and non-horse participants. Whether or not you have a horse on the course you will do lots of practical participation including rope work and role play horse work.  If you can’t bring your own horse we can lend you a horse to work with, we have a selection of horses at various stages of training and aim to match you with a horse who can help you progress.

At these events the horses all get worked twice a day and days are long. A maximum of 5 horse places and 5 non-horse places are available on these courses and they fill up quickly so contact me if you want a place. Horse places must do (or at least pay for) all 3 days of the course. non-horse places can do less days but must start at the beginning of the course (ie, you can do the Saturday and Sunday but skip the Monday if you can’t get a day off work).

Costs - Three day horse places £225. Non-horse places £60 per day. This includes lunches and an evening meal or takeaway. There is some sleeping bag space if you want to stay with us (first come first served) or if you want to be pampered there is an excellent B&B within walking distance.

Places can be secured for a £50 deposit paid with Paypal.  This can only be refunded if we are able to resell places that are cancelled.
